| Place
clay on the board and first press with the palm of
your hand to flatten slightly.
Then using the wooden roller, roll keeping the ends
of the roller on the side rails. This will keep your
clay slab exactly 3/16”

Cover
the clay with good quality plastic wrap. You want it to
cling with no wrinkles.
Don’t skimp here.. This really does make the NEW
Clay Cut difference.
|
| Press
your cutter in to the clay. You can feel it cut all the
way to the board.
Note your cutter stays clean,, and there is not a
chance that the clay will stick to the cutter.
Metal cutters work best, however you can use plastic
cutters.

 |
Now guess
what happens to the clay while you are pushing the
cutter. The plastic wrap is molding the top side of the
clay, giving it a smooth rounded edge. (Surprise! Almost
like it was molded clay) |
| Pull
the plastic up, and you will easily peel away the clay
surrounding the object.
It’s perfect.. You have just made a Clay
Cut.. No Messy cutter to clean.. and No ragged
edges on the clay to clean.

To finish
off this piece which will become an ornament we use a
plastic straw to make the perfect hole. |
