What is a Bug Jar? A jar designed to be placed outdoors to catch and hold those pesky bugs during an outdoor gathering.

Fill the moat in the catcher through the neck opening with a mixture of water and a dash of sweet liquid, the sweeter the liquid the better. Put the lid back on.

The sweet smell will attract pesky bugs, which will fly into the catcher through the hole at the bottom. If you wish to release them, simply remove the lid which will allow them to fly out.
